Andrea Garvey to serve as Senior Director, Health and Human Services driving business development and solutions for human services and healthcare organizations.
Herndon, VA, April 16, 2019 – HighPoint Global, a leading provider of customer experience and digital solutions for government agencies, announced today the addition of Andrea Garvey to their management team. Serving as the Senior Director, Health and Human Services, Garvey will be focused on developing client-specific strategies for existing and new clients to grow the company’s support of health and human services-focused organizations.

Garvey brings a depth of experience in implementing new government processes and policy from her executive roles with contractors and in varied roles state and local government. She served as the first Data Governance Officer for the State of Maryland Department of Human Resources creating the legal compliance, data governance and data risk management framework for the nation’s first cloud-based health and human services integrated platform, MD THINK. Garvey also served in Maryland Governor Hogan’s staff as Policy Advisor to the Governor’s Chief of Staff where she designed and implemented Maryland’s first Opioid Operational Command Center (OOCC) and led the strategy for the creation of Maryland’s Economic Development Strategy.
